We offer many different experiences at Strathearn Distillery, maybe a simple tasting tour of our farm based distillery, or a day spent distilling whisky, an afternoon making and drinking gin, right up to the ultimate experience of becoming a member of the new Strathearn First Whisky Club.
Visitors are always welcome with a prior appointment to come and see what we are doing at the Distillery. Opening times are generally Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, so phone or email and make an appointment. We don’t want to disappoint you by not being able to show you around. If you would like to arrange a weekend tour, please contact us as we sometimes like to go home.
The tour involves a full show round of our distillery, warts and all, whilst enjoying a gin and tonic. We then move into the bond or office and conduct an extensive tasting of approximately 8, yes eight spirits, including gin, new make malt spirit and other projects we may be working on at the time.
The cost is £25.00 per person and generally lasts approximately 90 minutes.
The colourful History of Strathearn covers Geology, Romans, Picts, Wallace & Bruce, Jacobites and modern goings-on.
